It’s that time of year again – the W.I.S.H. WineSTEM 5K is back and better than ever! Get ready to run, walk, or trot your way to supporting the next generation of STEM superstars.

Join us for a fun-filled day with three exciting events:

  • 💥 5K Race – For the go-getters!

  • 🎈 1K Fun Run – Perfect for a casual cruise with friends and family.

  • 🍼 Toddler Trot – A tiny dash for our tiniest runners!

This year marks our 5th anniversary, and we’re celebrating by doubling down on our mission to support education. 100% of proceeds go directly to our W.I.S.H. Scholarship and Grant Program, which awards:

  • 🎓 $500 High School STEM Scholarships

  • 🌟 $1000 STEM Conference Grants

This year, W.I.S.H. is thrilled to announce our partnership with Gary Jenkins of Pace Setters for our 5th Annual WineSTEM 5K! 🎉

Gary brings years of race coordination expertise and a stellar reputation in the North Georgia race community. He’s behind some of the region’s biggest 5Ks, including:

  • Chick-fil-A Moo'it 5K with 2,200+ participants in 2024 🐄

  • Marble Festival 5K, another standout local event 🎪

What This Means for Our Sponsors:

W.I.S.H. will be out in the community - attending races, pre-registering runners, distributing flyers and postcards, and talking up our amazing sponsors. It’s a chance to amplify your visibility to thousands of runners and families across multiple events.

WHY WE DO THIS:

With your help over the past five years, we’ve been able to award 32 STEM High School Scholarships and Conference Grants - an achievement made possible by your generosity and belief in our mission.

This year alone, the W.I.S.H. High School STEM Scholarship received over 150 applications, demonstrating just how great the need is. These students are eager, driven, and passionate about pursuing careers in STEM - but they need our support to make their dreams a reality.

As a 100% volunteer-run organization with minimal operating costs, every dollar you donate goes directly to the students these funds are designed to support.

Looking ahead, our 2025 goal is to expand our W.I.S.H. awards program - growing from 10 to 15 High School STEM Scholarships and Conference Grants for 2026.

Additionally, any extra funds raised will support W.I.S.H.’s interactive classroom STEM presentations, now extended to reach both middle and high school students, bringing hands-on learning and real-world inspiration to even more young minds.
